Hungary transport disruptions following car and train collisions

Multiple transport disruptions have occurred in Hungary following separate accidents. In Jászfényszar, a collision between two passenger cars took place on József Attila road near Rákóczi road. Emergency responders, including volunteer and professional firefighters from Jászberény, attended the scene to secure the vehicles and perform technical rescue operations. The accident resulted in traffic being restricted to a single lane.

Separately, rail services on the Budapest–Újszász–Szolnok line are experiencing delays. This follows a collision between the Nyírség-Kraszna InterCity (IC 619) and a small truck at the Rákos railway crossing. As a result, train traffic between Rákos and Rákoshegy is limited to a single track while reorganization of services is underway.
