Hungary weather shifts to sunny, warm days with cold mornings
Hungary is experiencing a significant seasonal transition characterized by extreme daily temperature fluctuations. While mornings are becoming increasingly cold, with temperatures dropping between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius and occasional frost or dense fog, afternoons are seeing warm, summer-like conditions with highs reaching 20 to 26 degrees Celsius.
A western anticyclone is expected to influence the Carpathian Basin, bringing stable, sunny, and dry weather for at least a week. This pattern is expected to bypass the region, preventing significant precipitation and major frontal movements.
Agricultural impacts include dry soil conditions in the Great Plain, which may hinder autumn sowing and soil preparation. While the weather is generally favorable for outdoor activities, the sharp contrast between chilly dawns and warm afternoons may affect individuals sensitive to weather changes.
