Hungary weather forecast: frost followed by warmth and rain
Hungary is experiencing significant weather fluctuations this week, transitioning from early morning frosts to unseasonably warm temperatures, followed by incoming precipitation.
At the start of the week, frost is expected in several regions, particularly in the valleys of the Northern Mountains and sheltered depressions in Northeast Hungary. Daytime temperatures will remain moderate, ranging between 13 and 19 degrees Celsius.
By mid-week, a warm front will bring a temporary summer-like period, with temperatures potentially reaching 24 to 25 degrees Celsius in some areas. However, this warmth will be accompanied by increased wind speeds and scattered showers from the southwest.
Toward the end of the week, a cold front will arrive, bringing more widespread rain and showers, particularly in the eastern and northeastern parts of the country. Temperatures are expected to drop again, with daytime highs ranging between 13 and 22 degrees Celsius. The precipitation is expected to be most significant on Thursday, moving toward the east before dissipating.
