Hungary weather: Cold front and frost expected

A cold front is moving across Hungary, bringing variable weather conditions. While the Transdanubian region may see sunny intervals following the dissipation of morning fog and mist, eastern and northeastern areas are expected to remain cloudier with potential rain, showers, or thunderstorms, particularly in the Eger–Békéscsaba corridor.

Temperatures are expected to fluctuate, with daytime highs generally ranging between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius. However, nighttime temperatures may drop significantly, with frost possible in low-lying areas and mountain regions. Some higher elevations in the Northern Mid-Mountains might even see the season's first snowflakes, though lasting snow cover is not anticipated.

The weather shift is also expected to impact health, particularly for those sensitive to pressure changes and cold fronts. Experts note increased risks of headaches, migraines, and anxiety, alongside seasonal allergy concerns from ragweed and mold.
