Hungary's NAV announces autumn auction of seized goods

The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) of Hungary has announced its autumn auction, featuring a diverse range of seized items with a total estimated value approaching 1.4 billion forints.

The auction, which begins on October 2 and allows for four days of bidding, includes items from various categories such as fashion, electronics, vehicles, industrial machinery, and tools. Notable items include a collection of products from a seized Far Eastern department store, LED desktop fireplaces, fishing rods, and various sculptures.

Among the more unusual listings are a talking plush cactus and several statues, including a József Attila statue valued at 500,000 forints. Participants must complete a pre-registration to bid. Winners are required to pay the purchase price within eight days, and failure to do so may result in exclusion from future auctions.
