Hungary's Night of Museums 2024 Focuses on Gastronomy in Sopron

On June 20, the annual Night of Museums (Múzeumok Éjszakája) will take place across Hungary, with a special emphasis on gastronomy. The event’s ambassador is food writer and TV presenter Zsófia Mautner.

Sopron is the featured city this year, offering food‑related exhibitions, interactive cooking workshops and historic culinary displays. The nationwide program includes dozens of museums offering themed tours, concerts, film screenings, workshops for families, and special international participation such as a Venezuelan cultural exhibit. Admission is 3000 Ft for adults and 1500 Ft for children, granting access to all participating venues.
