Hungary's Pentathlon Teams Capture World Golds and Finish Eighth at European U20 Event

Hungarian pentathletes dominated the U17 and junior world championships in Kaunas, earning two gold medals, one silver and one bronze. Kántor Benedek secured an individual world title, while the junior women's team added a bronze medal. Other team members placed in the top eight across various disciplines, highlighting a strong overall performance.

In a separate competition, the Hungarian U20 squad competed at the B‑division European championship in Bratislava and finished eighth. Lukácsi Gábor, who missed the final two matches due to a wrist injury, described the result as below expectations and noted the team failed to achieve promotion to the A division.
