HUNGER game announces closed beta test for October

Good Fun Corporation has announced a closed beta testing phase for its upcoming title, HUNGER, scheduled to run from October 19 to October 26. Originally intended to launch directly into an open beta, the developers opted for an expanded closed test due to higher-than-expected interest.

The primary objective of this testing period is to evaluate server stability and infrastructure load across various regions to ensure the game can handle a large concurrent player base. Participants from previous technical tests will receive automatic access, while new players can apply through Steam.

HUNGER is described as a genre-blending experience set in an alternative, plague-stricken Napoleonic-era Europe. The game combines elements of extraction shooters, RPGs, survival, and melee-focused horror. Players navigate a gothic landscape, facing both monstrous creatures known as Hunger and other human survivors, utilizing a mix of firearms and melee weapons like axes and maces.
