Hunter Biden jokes about being 48.5% gay in interview

Hunter Biden recently participated in an 80-minute interview with progressive political commentator Luke Beasley, during which he jokingly described himself as being “48.5 percent gay.” During the conversation, Biden’s self-described percentage fluctuated, at one point dipping to 47 percent before returning to 48.5 percent. When asked about his preferences, Biden quipped that more masculine men would be his type if he were gay.

The interview follows previous comments made by Biden regarding what he termed the “closetocracy” in Washington, D.C. In a July appearance on the “I’ve Had It” podcast, he suggested that a group of closeted politicians, largely within the Republican party, contributes to political vitriol because they cannot live authentically. He argued that the secrecy of living closeted can create a “blackened heart” that affects how individuals interact with the world.
