Hunter Biden signals potential 2028 presidential run

Hunter Biden has signaled the possibility of a 2028 presidential run, marking a shift from previous comments where he appeared to dismiss the idea. During an interview on John Catsimatidis’ WABC radio show, ‘Cats Roundtable’, Biden stated he ‘may have to’ run for the White House if he receives an endorsement from the host.

While no formal campaign or exploratory committee has been established, Biden highlighted two primary areas of focus: adherence to the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution, and addressing the national addiction crisis. He noted that approximately 50 million Americans continue to struggle with substance abuse.

Biden, who has been open about his personal journey with addiction and recently celebrated seven and a half years of sobriety, emphasized that the next president must commit to upholding the constitutional system. His remarks come after a period of legal scrutiny regarding federal gun and tax charges, for which he previously received a presidential pardon.
