Hunter found dead in Arpino woods after disappearance

Fabrizio Quadrini, a 56-year-old engineer and hunter, was found dead in the woods near Arpino after disappearing during a hunting trip. The body was discovered in the Morroni area at approximately 1:30 a.m. following an extensive search operation.

Search teams, including the Carabinieri, Vigili del Fuoco, Guardia di Finanza, and Alpine Rescue, located his vehicle and mobile phone in the Cascatelle area of Isola del Liri. Preliminary medical examinations showed no visible wounds, leading authorities to suspect the man may have suffered a sudden, fatal medical emergency.

Quadrini, who worked as a quality director for Avio (part of the Leonardo SpA aerospace group), had been missing since Monday morning. The Prosecutor's Office of Cassino has ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
