KTM signs Alex Márquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio for 2027 MotoGP season

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed that Alex Márquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio will join its factory MotoGP line‑up from the 2027 season. Both riders signed multi‑year contracts, replacing outgoing riders Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder. The Spanish rider moves from Gresini‑Ducati after a successful stint that included a runner‑up finish in the 2025 World Championship, while the Italian rider transfers from Ducati. The pair will help develop the KTM RC16 for the new 850 cc regulations that commence in 2027. The announcements were reported by outlets in Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Turkey, Indonesia and other markets, confirming the same official confirmation made after the Czech Grand Prix in June.
