Hunter region builders win multiple HIA Housing Awards

The 2026 HIA Hunter Housing, Kitchen & Bathroom Awards recognized outstanding residential construction projects across the Hunter, Central Coast, and Mid Coast regions. A total of 71 awards were presented to builders, designers, and tradespeople.

Greenbuild Constructions and Sydney developer Aveline Property achieved significant success with their Alula project in Nelson Bay. The development won five awards, including Townhouse Development of the Year, Townhouse of the Year, Bathroom of the Year, and Kitchen of the Year. These wins qualify the project to compete at the national HIA Australian Housing Awards in May 2027.

Other major recipients included Paterson Builders, which earned the HIA Hunter Home of the Year for its Avoca Beach House, alongside awards for Custom Built Home and GreenSmart Sustainable Home. Hunter Homes secured the Display Home of the Year and Project Home of the Year titles, while JL Monin Building & Projects won for Renovation/Addition Project of the Year. MARS Building was named Apartment of the Year.
