Hunter region offers science activities for National Science Week
In celebration of National Science Week, themed ‘Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all’, the Hunter region offers various opportunities for local scientific exploration and curiosity.
Activities include observing bioluminescent ghost fungi in the bush at night, with guided tours available through experts such as Associate Professor Karen Livesey. Additionally, residents can engage in amateur astrophysics by using stargazing applications to identify celestial bodies, planets, and the International Space Station without the need for professional telescopes.
