Hunter x Hunter enters new hiatus after ten-chapter return

The manga series Hunter x Hunter has entered a new hiatus following the publication of ten new chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump this summer. After a two-year break, the series resumed with chapter 411 and has now paused again following the release of chapter 420.

The hiatus occurs during the Succession Contest arc, as the plot progresses toward the Dark Continent. Recent chapters have seen the return of characters such as Hisoka, who was depicted destroying a casino while navigating the Black Whale ship, and the reappearance of Gon and Killua for the first time in approximately 15 years.

While Yoshihiro Togashi is reportedly working on the next set of chapters, including chapter 430, there is currently no official date for the series to resume its regular publication schedule.
