Huntington Beach hosts Gymreapers Wodapalooza fitness festival

The SoCal Fitness Festival, featuring the Gymreapers Wodapalooza competition, is taking place at the Huntington Beach Pier. The three-day event is expected to draw over 2,000 athletes and tens of thousands of visitors, generating an estimated $8 million economic impact for the city.

This year’s festival introduces a new format called ‘Battle of the Camps,’ which features four elite six-member teams competing across 11 different events. The competition includes various community divisions such as RX, Intermediate, Teens, Masters, and Adaptives.

Broadcasting rights for the event have been acquired by FloElite. While most community division coverage requires a FloElite subscription, nine of the 11 ‘Battle of the Camps’ events will be available for free on the FloElite YouTube channel, with some specific sessions remaining behind a paywall.
