Huntington Hospital bomb threat tied to extremist network 764

A 911 call received at 5:40 a.m. threatened a bomb at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California. The caller claimed to belong to the online extremist network known as “764,” which the FBI describes as a violent group that coerces minors into violent and sexual acts.

Law enforcement, including Pasadena police, fire units and K‑9 teams, responded and searched the facility. The hospital was not evacuated, but emergency‑room traffic was temporarily diverted to other hospitals. An all‑clear was issued about four hours after the call and normal operations resumed.

The FBI and local authorities continue to investigate the source of the swatting call. A 17‑year‑old girl associated with 764 was previously arrested in Vernon, Connecticut for similar bomb‑threat calls. The incident highlights ongoing threats from the extremist network, which has been linked to other swatting incidents at schools and universities.
