Huntingtown community invited to shape town center master plan

The Calvert County Department of Planning & Zoning is seeking public feedback to update the Huntingtown Town Center Master Plan. A community meeting is scheduled for September 15, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department, with a livestream option available via the county’s YouTube channel.

Originally adopted in 1993, the master plan has directed land use, transportation, economic development, and environmental stewardship for over three decades. The update aims to evaluate current conditions and establish a new vision for the town center, which serves as one of the county’s designated hubs under the Calvert County Comprehensive Plan.
