Huntsville announces 127th annual Christmas Parade theme and date

The city of Huntsville has announced details for the 127th annual Huntsville Christmas Parade. Scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at 6 p.m., the event will take place in downtown Huntsville.

This year’s theme, ‘A Rocket City Christmas,’ was chosen by the community via an online People’s Choice vote. The parade is organized by Mix 96.9 and the Von Braun Center, with Food City returning as the presenting sponsor for the second consecutive year.

Registration for businesses, organizations, and community groups is currently open through October 30. A panel of judges will evaluate floats based on creativity, execution, and theme interpretation, with cash prizes available for the top three entries.
