Huntsville Culinary Month and Restaurant Week Kick Off in August

Throughout August 2026, Huntsville, Alabama will host its 15th annual Culinary Month, highlighted by Huntsville Restaurant Week from August 14‑23. The event, organized by the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau, introduces new Food Truck Fridays at the Visitor Center each week and offers a free Rocket City Dish Pass that lets diners check in at participating restaurants for prize draws. Social‑media contests on Facebook and Instagram will also give participants chances to win gift‑cards.

Jennifer Moore, President/CEO of the CVB, said the growing community of bakers, chefs, brewers and mixologists has put “Rocket City on the map as a foodie destination.” Pam Williams, who leads Culinary Month, noted the influx of new residents from Redstone, Marshall Space Flight Center and international firms is expanding the city’s culinary diversity.
