Hurghada Youth Film Festival to honor Hamada Helal in new category

The Hurghada Youth Film Festival has announced the launch of a new category titled "Voice of Cinema" for its fourth edition, scheduled to take place from September 10 to 15. This section is designed to honor singing stars who have significantly contributed to the film industry through both their vocal talents and acting roles.

Singer Hamada Helal has been selected as the first recipient to be honored in this category. He is set to receive his award during the opening ceremony at the Hurghada Culture Palace. As part of the festival, Helal will also host a seminar on the second day to discuss his cinematic career, which includes over eight films such as "Ayat Habiba," "Helm El Omr," and "Aman Dawlat."

Festival leadership, including President Mohamed El-Basousi and Director Kadri El-Haggar, noted that Helal represents the rare ability to successfully merge musical stardom with acting talent. Administrative Director Ahmed Hagras added that the recognition highlights the essential role music plays in the success of modern filmmaking.
