Hurghada Youth Film Festival to screen Karim Abdel Aziz graduation films

The Hurghada Youth Film Festival will feature two films directed by actor Karim Abdel Aziz as part of its “absorptive” program. This initiative showcases the graduation projects of prominent directors and artists to facilitate knowledge exchange between established professionals and film students.

The films by Abdel Aziz include “The High Hole,” starring Sayed Abdel Karim and Alaa Khamis, and his graduation project, “A Painting of Flesh,” which features Ehab Fahmy, Mirna Walid, and Saudi actor Khaled Al-Harbi. The latter explores the challenges and uncertainties faced by youth regarding the future.

Additionally, the festival will screen “Long Live Justice,” the graduation project of director Ashraf Fayek. The film follows a journalist, played by Athar Al-Hakim, who faces legal difficulties after attempting to help an elderly man following a road accident. Festival officials noted that this program aims to bridge generational gaps and provide students with inspiration from the early works of industry leaders.
