Hurlingham hosts 4th American Poetry Festival this weekend
The fourth edition of the American Poetry Festival (FAPH!) will take place this weekend at the Leopoldo Marechal Cultural Center in Hurlingham, Argentina. Organized by the municipal Culture area, the event features a diverse program of readings, live music, performances, and debates.
The festival includes international participation from authors in Brazil, Venezuela, Guatemala, and Cuba, alongside writers from various Argentine provinces. Notable featured participants include Selva Almada, who will perform a sound intervention dedicated to poets Alfredo Veiravé and Arnaldo Calveyra; Washington Cucurto, who will present a visual poetry exhibition; and filmmaker Lucía Seles.
In addition to the literary activities, the event will host an editorial fair with more than 40 independent publishing houses specializing in the genre.
