Hurlingham to host symphonic tribute to Los Redondos' Oktubre album
The municipality of Hurlingham will host ‘Oktubre Sinfónico’ this Saturday, October 24, at the Leopoldo Marechal Cultural Center in Villa Tesei. The event celebrates the 40th anniversary of the historic album Oktubre by the Argentine rock band Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota.
The program features a tribute concert performed by the Hurlingham Municipal Youth Symphony Orchestra alongside the tribute band Finisterre. The musical arrangements are directed by Diego Boero, with contributions from Anahí Fiori and Braian Pérez Cea.
Following the concert, the event will include a talk and exhibition by Rocambole (Ricardo Cohen), the visual artist responsible for much of the band’s iconic identity. While entry is free, attendees are required to register in advance.
