Hurricanes sign Oliver Haig for 2027 season

Super Rugby Pacific rugby union player transfer Wellington Highlanders

The Hurricanes have signed loose forward and lock option Oliver Haig for the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season. Haig will join the Wellington-based squad following four seasons with the Highlanders.

The 24-year-old has a background in New Zealand rugby, having played for Otago and represented the New Zealand U20 team. His recent experience includes 32 appearances for the Highlanders and selection for the All Blacks XV in 2024, where he provided injury cover for the All Blacks during a test against Japan.
