Åhus installs large steel sculpture of iconic pine tree

A large-scale steel sculpture of the ‘Täppet-tallen’ pine tree has been installed at one of the entrances to Åhus, Sweden. The sculpture is a several-meter-high representation of a specific, well-known pine tree located on the beach near the Hanöbukten bay.

The original tree has become an iconic image of the Åhus region, frequently photographed in various seasonal lights. The installation of the metal version serves as a landmark for both visitors and residents, acting as a piece of public art designed to draw attention to the natural surroundings that people often overlook in their daily lives.
