Husein Sastranegara Airport resumes commercial flight operations

Commercial flight operations have officially resumed at Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung. The reactivation was marked by a maiden Garuda Indonesia flight, number GA335, traveling from Denpasar to Bandung.

The Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft departed from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 09:10 WITA and landed at Husein Sastranegara at 10:00 WIB on Friday, August 14, 2026. The flight carried 162 passengers.

Local residents expressed satisfaction with the reopening of the route, noting that it provides a direct connection to Bali and eliminates the need to transit through Jakarta.
