Hussain wins Big Stage Rocketfuel singing competition

Singer Hussain, born Jamak Hussain Jamilul Hayat, has been crowned the winner of the Big Stage Rocketfuel competition at a grand finale held at the MBSA Auditorium in Shah Alam. Hussain secured the highest overall score from the judges and online voting. As the champion, he receives a Rocketfuel Artist Development Contract valued at up to RM100,000, RM30,000 in cash, a single, and a trophy provided by Astro.

Adam Nazmi finished in second place, receiving a contract worth up to RM50,000 and RM20,000 in cash. Ranisha took third place, earning RM10,000 and a contract worth up to RM50,000. Other participants included Danny, Yad-Z, and Danial Kifli.

Following his victory, Hussain addressed recent social media controversy regarding a ‘saya minta maaf’ (I apologize) post on Threads. He explained that his approach of apologizing is a personal strategy to maintain peace and avoid prolonged conflict or provocation. He stated that he prefers not to waste energy on negativity, believing that forgiveness often leads others to reflect on their own actions.
