Huta Stalowa Wola orders 150 million euro in vehicle chassis from CSG Group

Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW) has placed orders with the CSG Group for several hundred vehicle chassis, with a total gross value exceeding 150 million euro. These components will be used to produce Waran 4x4 and Heron 6x6 multi-purpose tactical vehicles in Poland.

The orders were placed by the Polish Armament Agency and are financed through the European Union’s SAFE (Security Action for Europe) programme, a project designed to bolster European defense industry and rapid rearmament. The Waran 4x4 and Heron 6x6 vehicles are based on CSG’s Patriot II and Tadeas platforms, respectively.

Deliveries of the chassis and assembly kits are expected to be completed by the end of 2029. The production includes specialized configurations, such as command vehicles for the Missile and Artillery Forces, including units operating Homar-A and Homar-K multiple-launch rocket systems. This cooperation leverages technology transfers from CSG to enable series production within Poland.
