Swedish hockey results: Vimmerby wins, Leksand falls, and HV71 collapses

Several Swedish hockey teams experienced significant shifts in momentum during recent matches. Vimmerby Hockey secured an overtime victory against Modo, breaking a streak of home losses. Despite the win, coach Eric Karlsson noted a slow start in the first two periods, praising the team's character and the increased crowd pressure from a new spectator stand.

In HockeyAllsvenskan, league leaders Leksand suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 7-3 to Västerås. Leksand coach Johan Hedberg expressed disappointment and surprise at the team's lack of preparedness and competitive level during the collapse.

In the SHL, HV71 lost 4-2 to newcomer Björklöven in Umeå. After leading twice in the first period, HV71 surrendered control, allowing Björklöven to score four unanswered goals. Coach Niklas Eriksson and player Andreas Borgman both criticized the team for losing focus and becoming too comfortable after their initial leads.
