Hvar er draumurinn? musical film to premiere September 3
The new Icelandic musical film, 'Hvar er draumurinn?', is scheduled for theatrical release on September 3. Directed, produced, and written by Höskuldur Þór Jónsson, this marks his first full-length feature film.
Set in Reykjavík during the early 1990s, the story follows a young man named Bjartur and his friends as they attempt to save their local club, Sódóma, from closing. The production was an independent effort driven by young artists and filmmakers without external grants, following a 25-day filming period last summer and autumn.
