Hwang Bo-ra begins orthodontic treatment after son's dental diagnosis

Actress Hwang Bo-ra shared details regarding her son's dental diagnosis on her YouTube channel, 'Hwang Bo-ra Variety'. After her son, Woo-in, was identified as having a crossbite during a routine infant checkup, the family visited a pediatric dentist for a more detailed examination.

The dentist diagnosed Woo-in with a crossbite, where the lower teeth sit in front of the upper teeth, potentially causing him to jut his jaw forward to chew properly. During the examination, the dentist also noted that Hwang Bo-ra exhibits signs of a developed lower jaw and mild malocclusion, suggesting a hereditary connection.

Hwang also sought advice regarding her son's refusal to brush his teeth. The dentist emphasized that dental hygiene is a non-negotiable matter of health and safety, advising parents to remain firm even if the child cries. Following the consultation, Hwang decided to proceed with partial orthodontic treatment for her lower teeth.
