Hwang In-beom scores debut goal as FC Porto defeats Benfica

FC Porto midfielder Hwang In-beom scored his first league goal for the club during a 3-1 victory against SL Benfica in the seventh round of the Portuguese Primeira Liga. The match, known as ‘O Clássico’, took place at the Dragão Stadium.

Hwang, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday, entered the match as a substitute in the 38th minute. He secured the win in the 60th minute with a right-footed shot following a pass from André Silva. Porto’s other goals were scored by Gabri Veiga and Viktor Prohl, while Benfica’s lone goal came shortly after the second half began.

With this win, FC Porto maintains a perfect start to the season with seven consecutive victories, holding first place in the league with 21 points. The result also handed SL Benfica, currently in second place, their first defeat of the season.
