Hwang Jung-eum expresses desire for acting comeback

South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum expressed a strong desire to return to acting during a recent video posted to her YouTube channel. In the video, titled ‘The Day I Treated Ji-young Unnie & Subin Oppa,’ Hwang met with fellow actors Kim Ji-young and Bae Soo-bin for a meal.

During the conversation, Hwang shared her longing for new projects, asking, “When will I be able to do a project?” and requesting to be cast in future works. She expressed a specific interest in filming a “warm human family drama.”

The group also reminisced about their time working together on the 2013 KBS 2TV drama ‘Secret.’ Bae Soo-bin praised Hwang’s instinctive and honest acting style, noting that her ability to speak candidly provides a sense of catharsis. Hwang also expressed gratitude to Bae for supporting her during difficult periods in the past.
