Hwang Minhyun in talks for lead role in ‘Iseop’s Romance’

Actor Hwang Minhyun is reportedly in talks to star as the male lead, Tae I Seop, in the upcoming drama ‘Iseop’s Romance’. The news follows the departures of previous lead actors Lee Jong Suk and Choi Yoon Ji, who both stepped down due to production and filming schedule adjustments.

PLEDIS Entertainment stated that the project is among those offered to Hwang, though his involvement has not been officially confirmed. The production company also noted that nothing is finalized at this stage.

Based on a popular web novel, ‘Iseop’s Romance’ depicts an office romance between Tae I Seop, a third-generation TK Group heir, and his secretary, Kang Min Gyeong, whose professional skills rival his own.
