Hwangryong River Autumn Flower Festival to open in Jangseong

The Hwangryong River Autumn Flower Festival is set to take place in Jangseong County from October 8 to 11. The event features extensive floral displays along the riverbanks, including zinnias, cosmos, and over 18,000 varieties of flowers arranged in themed gardens such as the Cheongbaekri Garden and Hongdam Garden.

This year's festival emphasizes high-density programming, including night-time activities and live performances. A highlight is the ‘J-Light Run,’ a 2.5km night run where participants navigate a course featuring zombies and grim reapers. The event also includes a beer party with DJ performances scheduled for October 10.

Musical performances will feature various artists, including trot singers on the opening day, Urban Zakapa and Gabiengjay for the ‘Hello Autumn Concert,’ and the rock band YB for the closing ceremony. Family-oriented programs, such as magic shows and children's musicals, will be held at Hwangmir Land, with shuttle services available to connect the festival sites.
