Hyatt offers 20% discount on World of Hyatt points

World of Hyatt has launched a promotion offering a 20% discount on point purchases through December 21, 2026. Under this offer, members can purchase points for 2.08 cents each when buying at least 3,000 points in a single online transaction.

The promotion temporarily increases the annual purchase limit from the standard 55,000 points to 110,000 points per calendar year. To be eligible, members must have held an account for at least 60 days. Points are available in increments of 1,000.

Using points for award stays can help travelers avoid resort fees and certain hotel taxes. However, analysts note that the 2.08-cent price point may be less advantageous than transferring certain credit card rewards, such as Chase Ultimate Rewards, to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.
