HYBE India partners with Rashmika Mandanna for global girl group auditions

HYBE India has partnered with film actor Rashmika Mandanna for the ‘HYBE INDIA Audition: Final Call,’ a nationwide search to form a new global girl group. The campaign aims to discover and develop Indian female talent with the potential to perform on an international stage.

Following an initial round that attracted applicants from India and the diaspora in 116 countries, the second phase expands the search to eight additional cities across India. The audition is open to female applicants born between 2005 and 2011, covering five categories: vocals, rap, dance, acting, and modelling. Online applications remain open until 31 October.

Mandanna described the initiative as a ‘first-of-its-kind opportunity in India,’ encouraging aspiring performers to embrace the chance to pursue their dreams. HYBE India CEO Damien Woochang Lee noted that the initial response demonstrated significant talent and ambition across the country.
