HYBE reorganizes global label services to unify distribution and marketing

HYBE has announced a major restructuring of its support systems, transforming its regional label services into a unified ‘Global Label Services’ organization. This new entity will manage music distribution, marketing, promotion, and artist support for all of HYBE’s labels worldwide.

Juan S. Arenas, formerly the Chief Intellectual Property Officer at HYBE America, has been appointed as the head of Global Label Services. The reorganization aims to support both the international expansion of Korean artists and the activities of overseas artists within the Korean market and other global regions. This move aligns with Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s ‘Multi-home, Multi-genre’ strategy, which seeks to integrate distribution and marketing infrastructure across various global hubs including Korea, Japan, the US, and Latin America.

To bolster this new structure, HYBE has recruited several industry veterans. Nicole Sabai, formerly of Interscope Records, will lead global distribution from Nashville, while Melissa Victor-Burkhart, previously of Epic Records, will head the newly established ‘Artist Success Unit.’ Additionally, the company has created a Chief People and Talent Officer (CPTO) role, filled by Jenny Pep, to oversee talent and organizational innovation across its major global bases.
