Hybrid SUV market trends and pricing in Italy

The Italian SUV and crossover market features a diverse range of hybrid options, with 335 models currently available. Among these, 49 offer full hybrid versions, 86 are mild hybrids, and 80 are plug-in hybrids.

In the seven-seater segment, the Cirelli 7 and the DFSK E5 are notable competitors. The Cirelli 7 is a large multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) measuring 485 cm in length, featuring individual seats in the first two rows and a mild hybrid powertrain. The DFSK E5 is a more compact SUV at 476 cm, utilizing a plug-in hybrid system and offering a larger cargo capacity of up to 2215 liters when the third row is folded.

Regarding market pricing, the Cirelli 1 mild hybrid is identified as the most affordable hybrid SUV, starting at 19,800 euros. Other popular models include the Kia Sportage, which offers all three hybrid types, and the Peugeot 3008, which is a highly searched model. Prices for various hybrid technologies vary significantly, ranging from budget-friendly options like the Dacia Sandero Stepway to premium models like the Audi Q3 plug-in.
