Hybrid work trends drive focus on workspace optimization
As hybrid work becomes a permanent fixture in the French professional landscape, strategies for optimizing remote workspaces are gaining importance. Data from Insee and Dares indicates that teleworking has significantly increased, with nearly 20% of employees working remotely at least one day a week in 2025, a sharp rise from 4% in 2019. Among executives, this figure reaches 51.7%.
To manage the transition between office and home, experts suggest focusing on workspace organization and environmental design. One approach involves adopting Japanese-inspired minimalist principles, such as reducing visual noise, utilizing natural materials, and emphasizing 'ma' (the space between elements) to create a calm, focused atmosphere.
Another practical strategy focuses on hardware efficiency. Rather than moving heavy equipment, workers are encouraged to organize their setups so that a single computer can easily integrate into various environments using standardized peripherals like screens, keyboards, and docking solutions to ensure a seamless transition between locations.
