Hycroft Mining reports record gold grades at Nevada mine

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation has reported its highest-grade drill results in the company’s 40-year history at its Nevada mine. During the 2025-2026 Exploration Drill Program, hole H26D-6175A at the Vortex system intercepted 19.6 metres of mineralization averaging 30.49 grams of gold per tonne and 1,726.72 grams of silver per tonne.

The intercept included a high-grade interval of 1.7 metres containing 347.07 grams of gold per tonne and 9,526.36 grams of silver per tonne, with visible gold observed in the core. Executive Chairman and CEO Diane Garrett stated that the combination of higher grades and longer intercepts suggests the company may be approaching a potential source of the Vortex system.

The company is currently assessing underground production options, which could provide richer material ahead of a larger planned open-pit development. Hycroft has engaged engineering consultancy Respec to develop a conceptual underground mine plan. The Vortex and Brimstone systems are central to these underground studies, with previous resource estimates indicating significant silver and gold reserves.
