HYCSA to Build Six Train Stations on Saltillo‑Nuevo Laredo Corridor in Mexico

Grupo HYCSA will lead the construction of six passenger‑train stations on the Saltillo‑Nuevo Laredo corridor, investing more than 3.6 billion pesos. The consortium, which includes Calzada Construcciones, Dragados del Sureste, ASCH Infraestructuras, Rubau México, Construcciones Rubau and others, will hold a 54 % stake and execute the work under a multi‑year lump‑sum public‑works contract.

The project covers stations at General Escobedo, Salinas Victoria, Villaldama, Lampazos de Naranjo, Anáhuac and Nuevo Laredo, spanning a 396.3‑km double‑track, non‑electrified line designed for speeds up to 200 km/h. Construction is planned in three phases over roughly two and a half years, encompassing design, foundations, structures, finishes and railway‑network integration.

The development is expected to generate about 3,000 direct jobs and will serve an estimated 7 million passengers annually, benefiting communities and productive zones in Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
