Hyde Hotels opens first Mexican property in Mexico City

Ennismore has launched Hyde Mexico City Reforma, marking the lifestyle brand’s first property in Mexico. Located on Paseo de la Reforma near the Ángel de la Independencia, the 106-room hotel is an adaptive-reuse project occupying two existing modernist-era towers.

The property shares its lobby, dining venues, and certain common spaces with the upcoming SO/ Mexico City Reforma. The hotel features a music, art, and food-centric concept, including a 14-seat omakase counter at the Enzu Restaurant & Bar, which focuses on contemporary Japanese cuisine. Other planned amenities include the Sun & Moon venue, scheduled to open in late 2026, and a TechnoGym fitness suite.

Interior design elements include cactus-inspired sculptures and artisanal textiles, such as a tapestry by Vangi Uriegas and woven pieces by the studio 86 Nudos. The opening follows recent expansions by other international brands like Meliá in the Mexico City market.
