Hyderabad and Adilabad expand technology infrastructure

Hyderabad is emerging as a potential hub for artificial intelligence, driven by low taxes, reduced bureaucracy, and significant investments in infrastructure. The city's transition from a service-oriented satellite office to a primary AI development center depends on capital allocation toward data pipelines, model training, and data centers rather than traditional business process outsourcing.

In the surrounding region, a new Rs 60-crore IT Tower in Adilabad is prepared for inauguration by Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu. The facility, located along National Highway 44, offers approximately 50,000 square feet of space across five floors. Three IT services companies have already applied to establish units there, and startups have expressed interest in the plug-and-play infrastructure. If fully utilized, the tower is projected to provide employment for nearly 2,000 young people.
