Hyderabad Book Fair scheduled for December 18 to 28

The 39th Hyderabad Book Fair is set to take place from December 18 to 28 at NTR Stadium near Indira Park. Organized in collaboration with the Telangana Department of Language and Culture, the event is expected to feature approximately 320 stalls.

The advisory committee recently unveiled the fair's logo and announced that various sections and stages will be named in honor of distinguished literary and social figures. The fair premises will be named after the late Urdu writer and novelist Jeelani Bano. The literary stage will bear the name of Mukthavaram Parthasarathi, a prominent writer and translator, while the book release stage will honor the late Dr. YB Satyanarayana, a Dalit rights activist and author.

Additional naming honors include writers Sadananda Sharada and Etukuri Prasad for writer stalls, and Telidevara Bhanumurthy for media stalls. Children's programming will be organized in partnership with the National Book Trust.
