Hyderabad completes full distribution of SIR electoral forms while digitisation lags
Hyderabad has achieved 100% distribution of Enumeration Forms (EFs) under Telangana's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, reaching all 4,736,669 registered voters. However, only 8,15,716 of those forms have been digitised, a rate of 17.22%, far below the state average of 42.78%.
Across Telangana, just under half of the 33,826,448 eligible voters have submitted their EFs—1,66,70,610 (49.28%). Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy urged voters to complete and return their forms before the SIR deadline on July 24, 2026, noting that a name will appear on the draft roll only after a signed form is received.
Other districts show higher digitisation rates, with Yadadri B. at 75.44% and Nalgonda at 67.52%, highlighting Hyderabad's slower progress despite completing distribution.
