Hyderabad: ED searches premises linked to Neetu Bai

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at nine locations in Hyderabad linked to Neetu Bai, an individual identified as the leader of a cannabis racket known as the ‘Ganja Queen’.

The raids are part of a money laundering investigation initiated following cases filed by the Telangana Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) and the Prohibition and Excise Department. The agency is investigating the source of funds and assets allegedly acquired through illegal cannabis sales, with suspicions that significant sums were transferred through hawala channels or invested in real estate under the names of associates and family members.

Neetu Bai is currently reported as a fugitive in several cases registered by the Cyberabad Narcotics Police Station and the Excise Department.
