A customer shared a comparison of items from Panchakattu Dosa in Banjara Hills, noting that a meal costing ₹230 at the restaurant totaled ₹436 when the same items were added to a Swiggy cart. The specific items included a Neyyi kaaram onion dosa, Neyyi pongal, and filter coffee. On the delivery app, the total reached ₹436 before any coupons or discounts were applied, representing a difference of ₹206.

The price gap has led to discussions on social media about the value of convenience. Some users argued that the higher prices account for platform fees, delivery driver wages, and the avoidance of travel costs, while others suggested that the markup is excessive compared to eating at the establishment or cooking at home.
