Hyderabad hosts cycle ride to promote drug-free India

BJP MP K. Laxman participated in the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Cycle Ride’ held in Hyderabad to raise awareness against substance abuse. Organized by the Akshara Sphurti institution, the ride aimed to promote a healthy, drug-free India.

During the event, Laxman noted that the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ has seen weekly cycle rallies in Hyderabad for the past two months. He expressed concern regarding drug usage rates and suggested that foreign interests might be attempting to weaken India by targeting students with addiction.

Laxman highlighted that the Telangana government and police, specifically the Eagle Force, are working to eliminate drugs from Hyderabad and the wider state. He called upon activists, media, and all political parties to work beyond politics to support the national goal of a drug-free country.
